"18 year old Alex Lloyd came to my attention through his race winning performances in the British Formula Renault Championship, primarily because I had noted he was an Isle of Man resident.

The Team Isle of Man initiative is a great way to further Alex's racing career in the British Formula 3 Championship whilst also helping to promote the business community on the Isle of Man.

Alex Lloyd could become the Island's next Formula 1 driver however he needs the support through this unique initiative to develop his ability in his chosen career which in turn will help to promote the island's business and tourism industries.

I wish Alex and the Island every success in this venture."
